The Mavaar Dynasty is a noble family hailing from Alderaan. In the Great Galactic War, however, most of it's wealth and land was lost in the Sith invasion of the planet. Today the once proud dynasty holds little, if any power, but they retain at least a moderate amount of wealth.
Most of the remaining family members have moved to Coruscant.
